01 My Role & Contribution
I was directly involved in the preparation phase of the DAP 2022-35. My work focused on analyzing spatial data, zoning regulations, and ensuring the plan met the sustainable growth needs of Dhaka. This experience gave me an "insider's view" of the regulatory framework that now governs all construction in the capital.
02 Impact on Development
The DAP introduces new rules regarding Floor Area Ratio (FAR), water body conservation, and mixed-use zones. Understanding the nuances of these rules is critical for any development project today.
